Daniel Leal He probably could fight for his time period, but I think overall any boxer from his time could kick his ass

Muhammad Tracy Ali Great fighter. They wouldn't let him fight in tournaments. He wanted to fight to the death. The powers that be told him it was just a sport. Bruce basically told them survival has NEVER been a sport. Its kill or be killed. They didn't agree and let him do demonstrations instead

Muhammad Tracy Ali Every old school martial artist from Jhoon Rhee-Jim Kelly-Dan Inosanto all admit that Bruce was the real deal. So when i hear new comers that were born 20 years after Bruce is gone talk about Bruce like he was a "make believe" character it sickens me. These new jacks don't know what time it is

Eduardo Escudero, He was a boxer in Hong Kong when he was very young, it is said, he was a gang member, he was a great actor, but I think, he was also a supreme fighter, at least he was naturally strong, resilient, flexible, and most probably
Had a great heart, he didn't like fantasy fights in Chinese movies, he didn't like delusive martial arts masters!

Luke Gallagher Bruce had over 110 street fights with tuff guys and was never beaten... If he was walking down the street, a thug could walk up to him and Bow his head, this was a challenge to fight right here, and now, apparently this happened over 100 times from Triad...See More

Muhammad Tracy Ali Then why did Joe Lewis(the martial artist) take lessons from Bruce Lee? Google Joe and see how bad ass HE was. If yr a bad ass you dont take lessons from a person unless they are MORE bad ass than you.

Matt Staples Find me any footage of Bruce Lee you want. Pick what you think is the best example of his martial arts. Show me and I'll tell you why I think it is not that great.

Reply22 mins

Justin Z Neal The only benefit I might see is like excercise. Fighting wise its useless

Justin Z Neal Its not about scary, im not scary until someone gets hit then they get scared

Reply18 mins
Ty Garet He literally wrote the book on how to punch and a lot of really amazing content, really just read it for what it's worth, and don't hate the OG, he's the most OG persion in the game. If you ever he a bag, you respect him.

Ty Garet I never said he wrote it

Reply17 mins

Matt Staples I normally don't like Joe Rogan, but this video makes some good points about Bruce Lee:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yiBX-FS8750

Reply14 mins
Manage
Ty Garet Weird comparision

Reply14 mins
Manage
Ty Garet That's like comparing a 20 story building to a F***ing shit can.

Reply13 mins
Manage
Ty Garet I dont disagree

Reply13 mins
Manage
Ty Garet That his bag looked like a pillow flapping in the wind

Reply13 mins
Manage
Ty Garet And I work on a 130lb muay thai bag.

Reply13 mins
Manage
Ty Garet I can do my hardest kick, and not even make the bag bend very much. I'll move the bag, But I sure don't displace it like bruce is. So it's if now you can sync up this info where he claimed it was 300lbs..........

Reply12 mins
Manage
Ty Garet Then that would be super convincing

Reply11 mins
Manage
Ty Garet Yeah This isn't happening with a normal heavy bag. Not bare handed. I'm a big dude compared to this guy.

Reply10 mins
Manage
Matt Staples He's moving the bag from pushing it (not always bad, but he still lacks power)...when he punches his hips come up and his ass comes out...it is obvious that there isn't much power

Reply10 mins
Ty Garet If i go bare hands with my 130lb heavy bag. I have to take 3days off to almost a week off. Because it absolutely destroys me.

That's why they say DONT DO IT.

I had to put it to the test, and wanted to train like that, and it was worthless haha. But i work from home so i had the chance to try it.

Reply9 mins
Manage
Ty Garet He went ape on this video - i cant imagine this is a real heavy bag

Reply9 mins
Manage
Matt Staples If it's not a real heavy bad that doesn't change how goofy his form looks. Those punches would not KO anyone.

Reply8 mins
Ty Garet What makes me lean your direction, is I havent seen this... since buying that bag.

Reply8 mins
Manage
Ty Garet Those punches would KO someone - I guess I've just seen a lot of people get knocked out from not much punches. At 1:10secs, he does a punch where I can see it hurt him. lol

Reply7 mins
Manage
Ty Garet It's just anatomy really - i'm not saying you couldn't tense your face and not get knocked over. But it's just anatomy and how your head works is why I'm disagreeing with you on knock outs

Reply7 mins
Manage
Ty Garet This poor guy lol

Reply5 mins
Manage
Ty Garet I didnt know they slowed it down

Reply5 mins
Manage
Ty Garet hehe world class fighter again compared to bruce
